Hello and what a very informative site,so glad this is here and hopefully i can be helped out. Iv'e fitted a few alarms in the past,it isn't my normal job,just for family but things were easier a few yrs ago.
So, as above, melcom st5000, which is not using an extra key pad.I'm doing this is because of an attempt burglary only a fortnight ago at her house.
I have the manuals but not very good with things nowadays, quite forgetful,and need to get this done.
I believe i don't have the easiest panel to do but,it's what i bought so will have to stay with it. The AG6 MANUAL gives the info, ST- R- SW- V+ V-...........But the alarm box shows....TR- S- V+ V- ST-....... I can work out the changes but still need the wiring arrangement from the panel to the box, i see the st5000 isn't shown on here, with the wiring.
I have asked at another forum but been basically told to fookoff, i'm sure they are scared of giving advice for fear of other people taking their jobs!!! sad people.
