galaxy 16+
Hi Guys, I have the above alarm. This was fitted to my shop a good 10 years ago, and has its been sat in my shed for a good 9 years so I thought I would dust it off and use it!
I have powered it up and have reset it back to factory settings, I have the engineer and manager codes so am good to go.
This alarm will be fitted to my bird shed…. that’s right my bird shed, too many people are breaking in these days so I want to secure them - what I could do with knowing is:
1: the first main in/out door contact:
when entering the bird shed, I need a delay so it gives me 20 sec as an example to input the code before the alarm goes off, or when exiting it the door contact can be open or closed so I can get out!
What do I set that zone as? I notice they have quite a few options like “ fire “ “ alarm “ ect ect
2: same as above but when alarm is set and another door might be opened, I want that to instantly set off the alarm, what do I set that zone as?
3: I have a “ tricky “ zone I want to alarm, how can I alarm this window? This window has plastic pipes so they can be pulled out and someone can climb in without setting any alarm off As no doors will be opened, What is best to use?
Due to my birds moving around, I cannot use anything that detects movement

4: I got some magnets off eBay to find they don’t work with my system, something to do with a resistor 1 ohm or something, so found a magnet with one already done for me, where can I buy some magnets, and bell box that will be compatible with my system? An internal sounder might be loud enough for my shed so if that’s an option I could do that
5: I was chatting to my friend about this system and he said on some of the Galaxy systems you can control them via your iphone, they have a remote keypad is this possible with my system as this will be extremely useful for resetting in if it goes off in the night
This is my alarm

URGENT need for help
Hi People,
I have been in my house for 4 years now. Within the 4 years I have had to get an engineer out 5 times @ £85 a go.
1st time: the alarm would not turn off when I entered the house after just picking the keys up. The code that the useless woman we bought the house off was wrong.
2nd, 3rd & 5th: after a power cut to alarm went funny and would not function.
4th: two Power cuts for split seconds one after the other. not worked since.
Spoke to electricity board and was told to claim on house insurance - not interested.
Back to that woman - apparently the woman was involved with a guy who........yes guess what........ran a alarm company.
So I tried to do a little research on what type of alarm I have. I emailed the alarm company who fitted the alarm to ask them for a manual - no joy. Even rang them - no joy. I have attached a photograph to the post of the keypad. If anyone can identify this, I would be very grateful.
I now have a little 8 month old girl and money is tight. Her security when in our home at night is very inportant to me. Im not shy of having a go, so with a manual or a little guidence maybe I could get it working again.
Thank You

Elmdene en3-07-x
Anyone know anything about these? A customer has one which appears to use a 12v battery to provide 240 back-up. http://www.elmdene.co.uk/GEN-Range.html

Euro spec CP8L
Hi, I have a Eurospec CP8L alarm that was installed in my new house, is there a way of finding out what the zones are called and the number. I want to set up the part set 1 so that only the garage is active. I don't know who installed the alarm and we never got any information when we bought the house.
I have read the instructions and at the back there is a form that the installation engineer could have filled in to tell me. He didn't though
